All listings in the Shetland Community Directory are based on information on the ALISS (A Local Information System for Scotland) directory. Listings can be added via the ALISS website.
All listings are to be uploaded and managed by the organisation themselves. If you would like to add your organisation, you can read the guidance document here.

You should use the ALISS website to “claim” the organisation. Once that process is approved you can edit or delete account information. Support is available via ALISS.

Yes. The Directory can be accessed from anywhere, although all the information relates to organisations and services available in Shetland.

Organisations have the responsibility to maintain and update their information. Organisations can log in to ALISS at any point to update their information.
ALISS also send a yearly reminder to organisations to confirm if their details are up to date.

Our directory is made for Shetland. Some category names have been changed to be more suitable for Shetland organisations.
