Meal Makers is a local neighbourhood food-sharing project that connects people who love cooking (‘Cooks’) and are happy to share an extra portion of home cooked food with an older neighbour (‘Diner’) who would really appreciate a freshly prepared meal and a friendly chat.
The volunteer Cook would bring round an extra portion of their freshly prepared, home cooked food as well as providing company and a friendly chat. Meal sharing occurs weekly on a day and time agreed by both.
This service is available Scotland-wide for anyone over the age of 55 who would enjoy a delicious home cooked meal and some company. This service costs £5 per month.
