The Archie Foundation exists to transform experiences and outcomes for children and families across North Scotland with healthcare and/or bereavement support needs.
Supporting Paediatric & Neonatal Services, the Archie Foundation is the official charity of the children’s hospitals in Grampian, Tayside and the Highlands and the charity partner for Aberdeen’s Neonatal Unit. We make a young patient’s hospital experience more relaxed and less daunting. We do this by enhancing hospital environments with child friendly designs and providing distractions in treatment areas, including therapeutic Arts & Music sessions and supplying specialist equipment to support children and families after they are discharged.
